De Vermis Mysteriis

Rev. Marx has posted a build log for his recreation of the infamous De Vermis Mysteriis for the indy film "Doctor Glamour". The detailed descriptions and profuse illustrations make it a veritable tutorial on creating your own.

Where do you find all this stuff? I'm salivating over here. The Vermis Mysteriis; it doesn't get much better than that.

@ B.R.

I visit all the sites on the right at least once a week, as well as trolling DeviantArt, Flickr, and Photobucket regularly. I've been featuring Rev. Marx since the blog started, and his latest demonstrates why. The tome is nice, but it's his willingness to share the details of it's creation that I really appreciate.

No kidding Prop. I see so many items here that just make me say, "Damn I'd sure love to know how they did that."

As always, thanks so much for featuring my work on your site. I think this tome, and the Necronomicon (to be detailed in a future post) I made for this film project are my best work to date. I'm very pleased with them both. Can't wait to see the finished project.

This one came together so nicely and without much difficulty, I'm thinking of making a few more to sell And one for myself :)
